WHAT: Men's Annual Canoe Trip
WHO: Men of Faith Church. You're welcome to bring friends!
WHEN: Thursday, May 15 (Evening) through Saturday, May 17 (Afternoon)
WHERE: Downriver Canoe Company Bentonville, VA
COST:
$130.00 per person. The cost includes canoe rental, food and water/drinks for all, transportation, and good times.
What is not included: Fishing License (purchased separately online if you want to fish). Thursday night dinner on our way; your own personal snacks, drinks, etc.
WHAT TO BRING:
You will need to provide your own personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pillow, etc.), toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, and fishing gear if you choose to fish.
PLAN:
Thursday evening: We will leave the church and travel to the outfitter or campground, depending on time. We will eat on the way (dinner not included in cost) then make camp for the night.
Friday: The outfitter will pick us up at the campground and take us to the canoeing drop-off point. We will then canoe back to the campground, cook dinner, and relax by the fire.
Saturday: After breakfast and breaking up of camp, we will canoe to the outfitter's location and be shuttled back to our cars. We should be home by 5 PM.
PAYMENT:
Sign up now, (below) then later, a separate email will be sent with instructions for payment and completing the online waiver for the outfitter.
